“I think if I was going to put a practice or theme to the songs on this record, it would really be ‘What am I giving my attention to? What do we give our worship to all week long?’ It’s about aligning and re-aligning our hearts to Jesus,” shares Tim Timmons about this project.
Damilola Oluwatoyinbo, a prolific songwriter and passionate worshiper release a brand new music video titled; Lit. A sound of joy and celebration. It affirms the beauty of God’s light and the brilliance of His grace upon the lives of His children.
Damilola who is the dynamic pastor of “KINGS” shares the interesting inspiration of how he started writing this song in a prayer meeting.
“In 2018, I was inspired to teach a sermon series at KINGS, the ministry I’m privileged to lead. On a certain Friday, as we explored that series, I was leading prayers and at some point, I uttered these words, “My life is lit”
I repeated it. I said it several times and I kept meditating on that. I eventually decided to preach a message with that title. The next morning, I started playing around with some melodies in my head and I eventually came up with something I felt was worth sharing. I quickly recorded a verse and a chorus on my phone and sent it to our WhatsApp group because I wanted enough of our people to be familiar with the song by Sunday.
On Sunday, I taught our beautiful congregation and the reception was even much better than I had envisaged. People were singing and jumping in excitement. At that point, I knew God had given me another special song.
Over several months, I kept reflecting, meditating and crafting the sound till I was satisfied with the outcome and I’m thrilled about the power and vibrancy it carries. It’s a song that inspires hope, joy and confidence in God’s light and love.” – He says.
Damilola Oluwatoyinbo is known in many circles as a Wordsmith per excellence and Lyrical Genius, he is passionate about connecting the hearts of people to God through inspired words.

Gospel music minister and Script Music head honcho Preye Odede is out with a new single and video titled; Nothing Missing. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” – Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)
The word peace in Hebrew is shalom, which speaks of wholeness; nothing missing and nothing broken.
When God secured us in Jesus, and gave us the comforter, He ensured that we get everything we need in full. Everything including good health, security, good conditions, success, comfort, happiness, wellness, and a sound mind. It reaffirms that everything is alright, it gives a sense of well-being, and relieves our minds off stress. It assures us we will come out of any circumstance unharmed. It is a picture that shows the clarity of how our soul and mind can knit together in harmony, fulfil purpose and be satisfied.
Whatever has been lost, Jesus (the Word) can restore and fill the space. Whatever was broken, He can fix and give speed to overtake.
Preye Odede brings you the wholeness that is in Jesus in this new sound “Nothing Missing.”
The single was produced by Paul Piano, for Script Music. The video was directed by Akin Alabi.
