Singer-songwriter Sarai Korpacz has announced a new version of “Harmony,” one of the artist’s signature singles. The remixed version is released today, November 5th, 2021 and debuts as an engaging new iteration of a track Korpacz has enjoyed reinventing and revisiting over the past year.

The song first found an audience in September of 2020 as a traditional piece of gospel-tinged contemporary Christian songwriting. Then in early 2021, Korpacz uncovered new layers of the song by creating a country-western version that infused it with a new sound and style while furthering its call for unity and faith — a hallmark of the original track.

This latest take on the work finds additional colors and presents a more subdued, lyrics-forward interpretation that resonates in an entirely different way. “When I started writing this song, I felt that it was timely,” says Korpacz, from a video interview in the recording studio. ”The need for Harmony can never be overemphasized, it is a theme that should run through our daily lives.”

In its earliest conception, “Harmony” came to Korpacz after she offered prayers for guidance while witnessing persecution from extremist groups in her native state of Kaduna, Nigeria. As a dual citizen of both Nigeria and the United States, Korpacz has observed the very different forms of strife and unrest that afflict both countries. At the end of the day, she advocates turning to God for solace, hope, and a sense of direction. ”We can all start by praying for our own communities and asking the Lord how to take action.”

The “Harmony Remix” follows closely on the heels of “Eden In Me,” Korpacz’s 2021 single that celebrates the natural world and the joy of spirituality. Anointed gospel music minister based in Nigeria, David Nkennor releases a brand new and powerful song titled “In Your Courts” featuring Dera Richards.

This song succinctly captures the heart and words of the Psalmist in Psalm 84 about his desire for the presence of God.

The new single, which is a Praise song, acknowledges the Lordship of the Supreme one. It is complemented with a colourful video displaying the richness of culture under a festive ambiance.

Celiono exalts God using the Urhobo Language of South Western Nigeria, while Mike Abdul added melodic flavour, subscribing to the Yoruba Language of the Western Nigeria.

Born Celina Onoriode Ejemai, she is a native of Agbarho in Ughelli North Delta state. She is a graduate of Delta State University where she studied Economics. She is a member of R.C.C.G and an Investment Executive.

The Yoruba [a language widely spoken in the Southwestern region of Nigeria] titled song which translates as “The Blood Of Jesus” in the English language, is a song that tends to help every person to understand and also take advantage of the power inherent in the Blood of Jesus.

Carry,” the latest in a string of inspired new singles from Juno and GMA Canada Covenant Award-winning singer/songwriter Elias Dummer, is now available. A tender song of gratitude acknowledging the depth of God’s fatherly love towards His children, the track features acclaimed singer/songwriter JJ Heller.

Penned by Dummer along with Tim Timmons, Steve Fee and Brad Burke, “Carry” was co-produced by Dummer and Brent Milligan. Resting in the knowledge that “There is no season, no sin, and no sorrow/To keep You from carrying me in Your arms,” the message of the single resonates deeply with Dummer.

“It might seem clichéd, but I’m often reminded of the old ‘Footprints’ poster, because it’s true; God really has carried me—and each of us together—through so much difficulty, hurt and wrestling in this life,” he shares. “Only when we look back on the road we’ve traveled can we see that. Ultimately, it’s genuine communion and closeness with God that we all seek, so with this in mind we wrote ‘Carry’ as a delicate song—almost a lullaby—to remind us that God, as the Father He is, desires to carry us through the challenges we face.”

“Having worked together on the video for The City Harmonic’s ‘Holy (Wedding Day)’ years ago, I couldn’t help but hear JJ Heller’s voice on ‘Carry,’” Dummer adds of the duet. “I’m thrilled we had the opportunity to work together again on this song.”

“Carry” marks Dummer’s third new single this year and arrives on the heels of last month’s “The Gospel Is Rest.” The latter track features acclaimed duo Land of Color and offers a balm for weary souls in the throes of troubled times. Elias Dummer co-founded and fronted one of Canada’s most acclaimed worship bands, The City Harmonic.
