“I feel as though all of my past experiences, both as a musician and a messenger, have been pointing to this moment,” KB says. “I truly believe this album is my artistic culmination to date. Each song captures an essence of what I’ve been trying to achieve – both in the themes I address and the sounds that are expressed.”
KB is a man with a message. In a time where our country seems to be fighting to reconcile its own history, KB has released some of his most authentic, biting, and personal material to date. The Tampa, Florida native draws directly from intimate experiences of struggle, strife, and redemption to create an album that reflects the urgency of our times. The songs range from direct and unequivocal statements of faith as well as recounting the Black experience in America in eye opening ways, peeling back on a horrific kind of inadequacy and hypocrisy leveled by society on its people. But while the world appears to burn, so does KB’s intense loyalty to faith, and to those that seem to have been left behind.
On “Dark Skin,” KB directly addresses the issues of colorism and its effects, discussing the unfortunate popularity of “skin bleaching cream,” and recounting a friend “trying to scrub the black off her skin.” “Masterpiece” features singing from KB to his daughter, asserting the fact that beauty and perfection exist far beyond the color of one’s skin. Expertly produced trap beats mixed with a sterling rapid-fire flow are the standout sonics for His Glory Alone, established by the first two tracks “Armies” and “10K” – with both music videos receiving well over 1 million YouTube views each. Throughout the album, KB challenges the listener to think in the context of the events happening in our world, and how we can make the environments around us better.
To celebrate the album release, KB presented an exclusive livestream concert experience earlier this week that featured performances of key album tracks backed by intense lighting and striking visuals. The hip hop artist and entrepreneur celebrated his fifth Dove Award nomination earlier last month, as “Armies” was nominated for Rap / Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year. In addition to music, KB has stepped into the role of creative visionary for his clothing business Native Supply, and as host and co-producer for the faith and culture podcast Southside Rabbi, which is now in its second season.

Phenom gospel music headliners Tauren Wells & Kirk Franklin joins forces in sublime single Millionaire (Good Like That).
Collaborating for the first time in recording, the two multi-platinum hit makers had paired up for the thumping song, recording it in Franklin’s Dallas studio. Six-time GRAMMY® nominee Tauren Wells and sixteen-time GRAMMY® winner Kirk Franklin came back together again, this time meeting in Nashville for the filming of the video, which was directed by Patrick Tohill. On “Millionaire (Good Like That),” Wells delivers a sizzling track with Franklin, praising God’s faithfulness in making a way to come through doubts or difficulties. Showcasing the boundless creativity and inventive sounds they’re known for, the song was recorded for Tauren Wells’ hit album Citizen of Heaven, released earlier this year.
Tauren Wells says, “I met Kirk Franklin in 2012 in LA, at the GRAMMY Awards!! Never in a million years would I expect meeting someone I’ve listened to and admired for years, much less getting to make a song and music video with them (that’s a whole mood). But by the goodness of God that day is here, with the official music video for our song Millionaire out now!”

Maverick City Music released the official music video for “Be Praised” featuring Aaron Moses and Naomi Raine, which can be viewed below. The music video was recorded at a small gather at 1971 Sounds in Atlanta, GA.
“Be Praised” was written by Moses, Dante Bowe, and Joel Barnes during a Maverick City Music camp. The track will be released as part of Maverick City Music Vol 3 Part 2, which will be available on October 9, 2020.

“Enthroned” is an amazing effort by Bunmi Sunkanmi. It mixes African folk music with trendy pop and urban music elements. It is a worship sound based on the revelation of the One seated upon the Throne. It also speaks of His mightiness, his splendor and sovereignty.
The Maryland, USA based Gospel singer is renowned worship and praise leader, songwriter, and recording artist popularly known as “Queen of Melodious Praise” by her fans.
On the motivation for her ministry, Bunmi said: “I was called to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through songs. The Holy Spirit has been my source of inspiration and will always be. I received a new single from Him in January this year which will be out on March 29, talking about His greatness and How powerful He is”.
Bunmi Sunkanmi has ministered at several platforms in the United States, United Kingdom and Africa and have three albums to her credit.
