NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 3, 2021) – “Ephphatha,” a new single from recording artist G.L.O, which stands for God’s Love Only, goes for adds today to Hot AC/CHR and Gospel-formatted radio outlets.
G.L.O wrote the song with Alex “Ace 1” Espinoza at the helm as producer for the single.
“’Ephphatha’ is Aramaic for ‘Be Opened,’” G.L.O says. “The song and its title is based off what Jesus told the deaf and mute man in Mark 7:34.”
The verse reads: Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”
“What the world experienced with the pandemic in 2020 went beyond race, politics, age, gender and financial status,” G.L.O says. “Although everyone was not infected by Covid-19, many were affected with a financial crisis that shut down businesses, schools and churches which created a world with mask mandates, 6-foot social distancing and the search for a vaccine.
“’Ephphatha’ is a song to remind us that this temporary world is just that, temporary,” she says. “Nothing on this side of Heaven Is eternal. We cry out and lift our voices for the world to be opened but have closed our hearts towards God. I pray the hearts of men receive Jesus Christ.
“Ephphatha! Be opened!”
The new single follows a trio of other singles by G.L.O that have performed well on the CRC charts. “Closer” was a No. 1 single at CRC Weekly and CRC Monthly, as well as hitting No. 2 at CRC Quarterly. The single ranked No. 10 on the CRC Yearly chart.
“Reborn,” released in 2019 as the debut single from G.L.O’s album of the same name, hit No. 1 at CRC Weekly, No. 2 at CRC Monthly and No. 7 at CRC Quarterly.
Music has been important to G.L.O since she was young. When she received Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1998, she asked God to reveal her purpose. As she began writing songs, the songwriter noticed that none of her songs glorified God.
“That all changed one fateful day,” G.L.O says, “when God had a Word for me in Bible Study: ‘You can’t have one foot in the world and one foot out.’ After receiving that message, it was the breakthrough I needed. I haven’t looked back.”
With a ministry that knows no boundaries and one that reaches the young and the old, G.L.O’s prayer is that her music can break down the misconception that rap is only of the world.
G.L.O has appeared on local TBN networks as well as UK London International TBN. She has performed onstage at the Gospel Superfest where she shared the platform with artists such as Deitrick Haddon, Lecrae, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and others. She has enjoyed radio airplay from U.S. and international radio outlets.
In June 2019, G.L.O signed with McLaughlin Music Group for management.
AfroGospel artist Munachi releases a new single “iRepJesus” which features Christian blogger Alex Amos and also, member of Munachi’s Soulwinners crew Posyble TGB.
The single iRep Jesus is off his soon to be released mixtape “Vibes From The Church.”
The street anthem started off as a freestyle session but Munachi decided to put the song on wax and also engage Posyble and Alex on a verse each. It unapologetically flaunts Jesus, as the 3 artists attempt to sum up the core of their identity in Jesus Christ.
iRepJesus is coming after the release of Munachi’s latest EP titled ‘Justified (The Deluxe Version),’ which was released in January of 2021. Munachi is not the type to hoard his music. In the past one year, he has released atleast 3 EPs namely – the critically acclaimed “No Lele,” “Psalms of a Hood Boy” and more recently “Justfied (The Deluxe Version).”
2021 already looks promising for the Urban AfroGospel artiste as he continues on his streak of music releases and videos from his Soulwinners stable.
Derek Minor releases new single “Clean” available for download or stream at all digital platforms.
In addition to the track, Minor also releases the official video, which can be viewed below. He shares about the song:
“2020 wasn’t what any of us expected it would be but now that we are in a new year, it’s only right we leave the past behind and focus on making 2021 ours. “Clean” puts how we are all feeling into the perfect perspective: we’re not dealing with drama, we’re making our goals happen and not letting anything get in our ways. As Derek raps, “2020 vision, Oh I’m focused/Wipe me down/Dodging all the bogus/Oh, that’s clean!” 2021, what’s good?”

Hulvey, from Reach Records, has dropped his highly-anticipated new single “Reasons” featuring his mentor and labelmate Grammy Award-winning rapper Lecrae and pop sensation SVRCINA. “Reasons” is impacting radio now and can be streamed and downloaded across all digital platforms.
The song communicates the authentic fears the Brunswick native felt about losing his grandfather, life after death and thoughts of eternity. The chorus, performed by SVRCINA, reminds listeners there are many reasons for people to keep on moving forward and to not give up. Lecrae jumps in on a verse communicating about the trials life throws at us from death, loss and trauma but we can find hope in Christ to push through.
Hulvey says he wrote “Reasons” to “remind people that even though we have lost so many things: friends, families, jobs, homes, even our minds, peace and hope is still here. God is still completely and willing to wrap you up anytime. He has paved a way for us to be free.”
Myth-making, chart-topping Michigan rapper, NF offers up a brand new ominous, chest-beating title track accompanied by an amazing visual titled “Clouds,” coming from his first mixtape Clouds (The Mixtape).
“Clouds” follows NF’s last surprise single, October 2020’s “Chasing_(Demo),” which featured 15-year-old Australian fan Mikayla Sippel. A gripping ballad about breaking down and wanting to escape the world, “Chasing_(Demo)” arrived just as calls for new music from NF’s fervent fanbase were becoming deafening.
Ever since his Billboard-topping fourth album, 2019’s The Search, fans have eagerly awaited more of his emotive and brutally honest songwriting, grand production, and sharp delivery. This new single suggests that CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE) will be well worth the wait. NF will have collaborations with HOPSIN and TECH N9NE on CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE).

Protek Illasheva follows up the success of his ‘Counter Culture’ album which had appearances from the likes of Vector and MI with the Amapiano-driven ‘Wahala for who no get Jesus’.
‘Wahala for who no get Jesus’ is proof that secular music and gospel music can be cross-pollinated safely and easily. This theme has been the major message of the new school gospel act.

‘Wahala for Who No Get Jesus’ reinforces the established fact that Jesus is the only way, the truth and the light.

Adrion Butler has started 2021 off strong with his hit single “Stop Playin’ With Me”, but that is just the beginning. He is following it up with a certified BOP! “iPhone” is guaranteed to get you out of your seat and onto the dance floor. With his witty punchlines and rapid fire delivery, Adrion Butler has created another song for the soundtrack to your life.
“While recording this record we wanted to bring light to the infatuation with our smartphones. Some of us can’t go 5 minutes without looking at it.” Adrion Butler wanted to provide an alternative, instead of focusing on the creation, your Phone, focus more on the creator, God.
In the end, the words that come to mind are “lyrically impressive”. Adrion Butler’s new song “iPhone” can stand head and shoulders above the music currently circulating the radio air waves and from the looks of things…this is just the beginning!
After a brief hiatus, Atlanta-based hip hop artist and producer GodFrame returns with his new single “Through the Night.”
With an 808-infused emotional pop rap sound reminiscent of Post Malone and T-Pain, “Through the Night” is the soundtrack to anyone with a broken heart.
“Right before I wrote this song, I learned about a teen in my hometown who committed suicide after being bullied at school,” he says. “I didn’t know the family personally, but it still wrecked my heart to hear this type of thing happening so close to home. Then right after that, my grandmother passed away, and I just needed to make a song to cry out to God.”
GodFrame released the self-produced song on his grandmother’s birthday as a tribute to her legacy. “My Nana (I called her Nanno) was a real firecracker of a woman who didn’t take any bull from anybody, haha,” he says. “But she was always full of love and generosity, and cooked the best food you’ve ever had in your life. While we were planning the single release, I just randomly picked the last Friday in January, and when I looked at the calendar and saw it would be her birthday, I knew it was right. It was like she was smiling down on me.”
Having shared the stage with fellow Christian artists Andy Mineo, nobigdyl., and WHATUPRG, at CreationFest, GodFrame is no stranger to using fresh gospel music to breathe light and hope into life’s darkest nights.
He says, “If 2020 didn’t teach us anything else, it showed us that life is full of many ups and downs. But through it all, God reminds us that He’s here to carry us through the night. And while we may be weeping right now, joy is coming in the morning.”
