Gospel Song, the new EP from Rhett Walker, drops today courtesy of Provident Label Group/Sony Music. The latest project from the GRAMMY and multi-GMA Dove Awards nominated southern rocker and songwriter features five songs – the title track joined by “Revival,” “Let’s Go Down,” “All Joy No Stress,” which was co-written with Matthew West, and “Alright” featuring country star Jimmie Allen, who also co-wrote the tune with Walker.“Gospel Song,” which has been hugely successful at radio, and its accompanying music video were released earlier this year. An infectious song that celebrates the spirit-filled message of the Gospel, is, as Walker shares, “…a reminder that God is still in the business of redeeming stories and changing lives. It’s easy to lose our focus and be surrounded with negativity, so I wrote this song to help refocus each day and look to the Gospel and its good news.”

He’s a songwriter, performing artist, author, podcaster, and most importantly husband and father, but for Mike Donehey, learning to embrace the unexpected has been the very thing that continually brings forth encouraging and soul-healing music. It’s the unexpected that has a way of disrupting our lives in ways we might not have ever chosen.When the world was impacted by the pandemic, Donehey, like so many others, found himself struggling. Tenth Avenue North, the band that he founded and led for so many years, was amicably disbanding and planning their farewell tour when everything stopped. With the tour canceled and the band officially over, Donehey felt lost, not only about what his next steps were going to be but was feeling like – in his own words – a dried-out sponge.

As months passed, he realized he needed to mourn these drastic life changes as well as the unknown. The more he began to open up and let himself feel sadness and the sting of the pain, “the more joy came flooding in on the other side,” he explains. Songs began pouring out and an album was quickly penned.Writing during the pandemic became the anthem he needed to sing for himself, and, as the title song explains, he directs to Psalm 126 that in Christ he has what he needs to truly flourish. “If you want more joy, allow sadness,” Donehey says. “Grieve to get where you need to go because the more you shrink your sadness, you’re numbing the pain of hope. Flourish isn’t an album of naivete, it’s acknowledging that I was in a desert to appreciate the streams running through it.”

As an album that shares songs full of encouragement, radical vulnerability, mourning, honesty, acceptance,  acknowledgment, Donehey tackles it all in this collection of eleven songs birthed out of his struggle to learn what it takes to truly flourish in any and every circumstance.

Equippers Worship releases their new live album All Glory (DREAM Worship) available on on digital retail service providers.  The 13-song album is the sound of the Equippers Churches Movement. The project was recorded live across 2 worship nights in Auckland and London, since the team could not record together in one location, due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.  Tracks from the album were produced by David Darby, Daniel Sharp, Glen  Hartmann, John Matts, Alicia Lineham, Joshua Huirua and Ethan Penisula.

EeZee Conceptz Global has released the much anticipated EP by cross over Gospel music minister Chidinma titled “New Season”.

Alongside the release of the EP, is the video for the song “Jesus the Son of God” featuring COZA’s music group The Gratitude.

The 7-track EP is executively produced by Ezekiel “EeZee Tee” ThankGod, and contains previously released songs such as her crossover single “Jehovah Overdo,” “This Love” and the EP forerunner “Ko S’Oba Bire.” Other singles include “Chukwu Oma,” “Lion and the Lamb,” and the bonus track “This Love (French version).”

Chidinma Ekile announced her switch to Gospel music having been signed to EeZee Conceptz label in May, 2021. The announcement and ceremony was accompanied with the release of “Jehovah Overdo.” She released “This Love” in the following month. The song is a heartfelt ballad about the love of God. “Ko S’Oba Bire” which happened to be her 3rd release is a forerunner for her EP “New Season.” It was – like the rest of the singles – released with an official video.

 Three-time GRAMMY nominee Danny Gokey releases his new studio album, Jesus People, available here (Capitol CMG). Leading up to this release, Gokey has been releasing songs and music videos from the album showcasing his musical diversity and eclectic style. Throughout the project, Gokey’s songs touch on love, gratitude, and truth.
