Fresh off headlining Thy Kingdom Come, a worship revival in the United Kingdom with other ministers, Gospel Music Minister and Pastor, Victoria Orenze is set to release a new album titled Truth in Sounds. Having released 3 LIVE albums that featured powerful songs like On fire, Covenant Keeping God and Brooding from the Return album (2016) as well as Glorify Your name, All I have is You from Jesus Christ: The Way,The Truth & Life VOL1&2 albums (2019), Truth in Sounds follows two EPs and many singles.

Her 4th recorded album, Pastor Victoria says Truth in Sounds as instructed by the Holy Spirit aims to achieve two things;

• Make believers see, not by their physical sight, but by the Word of God.
• Introduce unbelievers to the Word Himself – Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Described as an experience of the Bible, Pastor Victoria emphasizes that every song in the Truth in Sounds album is grounded and based on the word of God. “The Bible is The Truth and because of its [timeless] nature, the words in it can be trusted. There is truly nothing new under the sun that has not been captured in The Bible,” the singer who is also a gifted violinist and lead Pastor at Jesus Unhindered Church adds.

Published under Kadosh Music, Truth in Sounds is a 13-track album recorded live with the Usound United band. All 13 songs on the album are written/produced by Pastor Victoria with one song featuring Nathaniel Bassey on the trumpet.

On what the album means to her, Pastor Victoria Orenze pens a personal message to every listener;

“Scripture says in Matthew 24:35 and Luke 21: 33; “Heaven and earth will pass away, but His word will never pass away. I, Victoria Orenze, an Apostle of Jesus Christ, believe that every Christian or Believer is a Preacher.  Hence, if your expression or one of your ways of expression is singing, then, it’s your job to preach The Gospel, which is the word of God, through songs. I welcome you into the experience of the Bible through “Truth in Sounds” or simply put, “The Bible in Sounds.”

GRAMMY-nominated worship leader Cody Carnes releases God is Good!. 

God is Good! was captured this summer during a special two-night worship event at Belonging Co. in Nashville. Special guests Kari Jobe, Natalie Grant, and Benjamin William Hastings join Carnes for the new album.

‘Be Unto Your Name’ is the debut EP from Anchor Hymns, a community of Integrity Music songwriters and artists who care deeply about the theology and the craft of the songs the Church sings. This initial project was inspired by old hymns that have carried the Church for generations and across denominations.

Andrew Osenga (A&R Director at Integrity Music) explains that three pillars continually showed up in those formative songs: “frank honesty about suffering and doubt, an acute awareness that we are in one specific time and place, and the reassurance that God is with us right here, right now, even in our suffering and doubt.” ‘Be Unto Your Name’ references the kind of music loved by this collective but rarely heard in church; full of soul and groove, these songs are unafraid to tackle the sounds of suffering and grief, as well as joy and celebration.

The new project features instruments most churches have on a Sunday, showcasing them in a slightly different way, hinting that perhaps “it will give a church somewhere some kind of permission to try something new,” Andrew adds. Through this project and at their core, Anchor Hymns hope to communicate one of the greatest things about church hymnody: that it removes the pressure, and pride, of our own importance. Church hymnody has been going on for centuries and it will continue long after us, as Andrew concludes: “It’s my hope that in this brief moment we are marked by truthfulness in what we say, usefulness in the way we offer it, and a kindness to whoever the Lord brings into our orbit.” The songs on ‘Be Unto Your Name’ are for funerals and home churches alike, in both traditional and modern houses of worship worldwide.

Zürich-based band ICF Worship release a new EP in German. After many projects in English, ‘Treuer Gott’ (meaning ‘Faithful God’) is focussing specifically on the German-speaking parts of the Church in and around Switzerland.

“The world – whether our personal sphere or globally – looks bleak sometimes. Yet we are excited about what God is doing in and around us, and about his faithfulness to us,” says band leader Dave Kull. ICF Worship’s new EP is their statement that through it all, they are set on keeping Jesus in focus and never stopping to celebrate the Giver of Life.

‘Treuer Gott’ presents five translated songs that emerged from the band’s previous two English projects and are sung in their local church week after week. The title track sets the scene by reminding the Church of God’s unconditional love and that our only appropriate response is to praise him accordingly. “It is an invitation to dance away our worries and look to the Lord; the eternal and faithful God,” Dave adds.
