Worship group Futures releases a new album titled bU Fashion Show 2023 Original Soundtrack. The album was produced by Andrew Barlow and Mark Griffiths and features new songs “Can’t Live Without You” and “Anything For You”. The album is in support of their annual bU Fashion Show they have at their church.
“We had a blast writing these songs and it was even more rewarding for those of us who got to be in Australia and perform them live at the show! Our Senior Pastor and founder of the bU Fashion Show reached out to us earlier this year to write the original soundtrack and we jumped at the opportunity, pulled together our writing teams and got to work. It was an awesome way to collaborate with our writers and producers from our Futures campuses across the globe and showcase music written across multiple different genres – we even have 2 super fun kids songs in the collection! Our Fashion Show has been running for 21 years, but we think this year was the most special with these songs taking to the runway.” – Chloe Evans, Futures.

Along with the celebrated artists pouring into the multi-artist A New Heaven And A New Earth project slated to premiere June 2024, their children are conversant participants not only singing and playing instruments on select songs on the recording and at live performances, but also producing the project’s video content, social media posts and website.
To date, six singles from the A New Heaven And A New Earth album have been released, including “Arms Around The World” from iconic singer/songwriter Phil Joel (Newsboys) that features Joel’s 19-year-old son Eden on both guitar and drums and 22-year-old daughter Phynley on background vocals.
Phynley is also an accomplished videographer and producer who directed the “Arms Around The World” video, the project’s “You Mean The World” from recording artist and actress MŌRIAH, a promotional sizzle reel and a short documentary of the project filmed primarily in Oslo, Norway.

“This is something that we see a lot of people in our generation care about,” Phynley says of the call to take care of Creation that is the driving force behind the A New Heaven And A New Earth project. “As Christians and people of faith, we care about the planet because it’s a gift that’s been given to us from God to take care and be good stewards of.”
Besides being director, editor and documentarian of the project, Phynley is also a background vocalist on “Our Common Home,” which is the A New Heaven And A New Earth single released in October that features Jason Roy (Building 429), Phil Joel and Don Chaffer (Waterdeep).
Like Phynley, Chaffer’s children, 19-year-old son Miles and 17-year-old daughter Ruby, are integrally involved in this project.
Miles developed the project’s website (www.anewheavenandanewearth.org) and Ruby designed and co-curates the Instagram account at www.instagram.com/newheavennewearthsongs.
She also played guitar and sang during A New Heaven And A New Earth events in Oslo, Norway and at the Vatican.
“My hope is that this project can provide people with a new lens, helping them see that there is a way to care about Creation that they might not have thought about before,” says Miles.
“The earth is a beautiful gift,” adds Ruby. “It makes sense to want to preserve that gift, taking care of it and embracing all the beautiful things this world has given us. I really hope that this project will spread that message.”
Along with his involvement in the “Our Common Home” single, GRAMMY-nominated, Dove Award-winning Building 429 lead vocalist Jason Roy contributed the lead track to A New Heaven And A New Earth, “It’s All Yours,” and has his 21-year-old son Avery involved in the project.
Like Miles and Ruby, Avery attended the Vatican events in 2022, as well as accompanied his dad’s performance at the Vatican and plays drums on the “Our Common Home” recording.
“This project is not just about the current and next generation, it’s about the next 100 generations,” says Jason Roy.
In addition to “Our Common Home, singles by Roy, Joel and MŌRIAH, plus the track “Together” from two-time Dove Award-winning, three-time No.1 Billboard-charting, Stellar Award-nominated Aaron Cole and “So Will I” from chart-topping recording artist and songwriter Micah Tyler, more A New Heaven And A New Earth songs will be revealed in 2024.
Each of these well-known Christian artists felt led to participate, responding to the call to write and record a song on taking care of Creation. The songs collectively cover rock, pop, hip hop, R&B, indie, folk/ Americana and more musical genres.
Internationally acclaimed, award-winning singer/songwriter/recording artist Jean Watson has released her highly anticipated new Christmas album, Behold: Carols of Worship.
2023 marks Watson’s twentieth year of music ministry and commemorates a very special story in her life.
In 2003, Watson’s landlord accidentally heard her singing Christmas carols and, overcome with emotion, gave her rent money back to her and told her to use it to record her first album.
“I gave that little CD away to anyone who would listen,” Watson remembers. “Soon, a ministry was born that would take me all over the world sharing the love of Christ through words and music!”
The new project, a six-song EP which released on November 24, 2023, is a collection of her favorite traditional classic carols, freshly arranged by Watson as part of a sumptuous worship experience.
Grammy-winning producer Jonathan Crone (Dolly Parton, Amy Grant, CeCe Winans, Danny Gokey) expertly brings her ideas to life, and gorgeous string arrangements from Tyler Smith (Michael W. Smith) shine on several of the songs.
Listeners are also treated to a guest appearance from Watson’s long-time collaborator, ASCAP and Dove Award winner Phil Keaggy, on electric guitar.
“I am thrilled to share this new music with the world!” says Watson. “My prayer is that these worshipful carols inspire us all to pause and behold all that God has done for all of us through the Christmas season and into the new year.”

King’s Norwich Worship is releasing a collection of songs, This Is Our Worship, on 24th November 2023. The first EP for the artist based at King’s Community Church in Norwich, the album will be preceded by two singles I Love You Lord and Forever And A Day on the 3rd and 17th November respectively.
Available on all major streaming platforms, the EP comprises six songs, written and performed by Ben Lock, Joe Bunton, and John Raspin. This Is Our Worship covers a breadth of topics, combining the contemplative and adoring with joyful declarations of God’s character and grace.
Bound to be a new, fresh addition to worship playlists everywhere, the album is for any person to listen to and make their own, the soundtrack for everyday worship, whatever the time, place, or situation. Beautifully layered, produced, and full of biblical truth, the songs are diverse in mood and tone but wonderfully united as one long love letter to Jesus.
“As a worship leader, the words of the Psalms have often resonated with me and I find myself continually going back to them for inspiration, guidance and challenge. Across all the sites at King’s Community Church there is a high regard on times of sung worship together; most weeks at least half the time of our Sunday morning meetings consist of singing songs of praise”, says Joe Bunton, from King’s Norwich Worship on what initiated the album-writing process.
“The importance of teaching good theology while leading worship to a congregation often weighs on my heart as I’m choosing set lists and picking songs for a Sunday. More and more I was finding new songs that either needed a bit of theological explanation before leading them or had sections that I questioned whether I fully believed in. This highlighted to me the importance of leading songs that reflect the theology of your local church and acted as one of the catalysts for me, and others in the church, to begin seriously writing songs that could be led and sung with conviction in our church.”
This Is Our Worship will be available on major music platforms, including Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music and YouTube.
Run51 releases their new Christmas EP, Wonderful Christmason DREAM Records available on all digital retail and streaming service providers. The collection songs include “Wonderful Christmas”, “Joy To The World” and “O Come, All Ye Faithful.” These 3 mix a blend of that holiday cheer with Gospel and CCM sounds. The album was produced by Jeremy Green.
“The EP includes two classic covers and our original song ‘Wonderful Christmas.’ ‘Wonderful Christmas’ highlights the Christmas season for us. We intentionally say ‘let’s not miss the moments we share.’ Let’s allow love and care to transform our world. ‘Joy To The World’ is re-arranged and influenced by our friends and family (Mesie) from the Caribbean giving you a fresh way to dance during the holiday season. ‘Oh Come All Ye Faithful’, has it’s classic melody but we added some space for reflection. As we give this EP to you we hope it encourages you to be generous through giving resources to others giving love, time and hope through the message given to us by Emmanuel. Have a Wonderful Wonderful Christmas.” – Run51
